Trademarks
What the Nuvo name and logo allow, and what a fork must change.
“Nuvo”, the Nuvo name in the app and its documentation, and the Nuvo logo and app icon are marks of Denys Ziuziuk. The AGPL-3.0 licenses the source code. It does not license these marks.
You may
- Say that your software works with Nuvo, or is based on Nuvo, if that is true.
- Use the name to refer to the original project in links, articles and reviews.
- Build and run unmodified Nuvo for yourself.
You may not
- Publish a modified version under the name “Nuvo”, or under a name or logo that could be mistaken for it.
- Suggest that the author endorses or maintains your fork.
Forks
A fork must use its own name and its own icon, and must remove the Nuvo name and logo from the window title, the desktop entry, the installer and the nuvo:// link scheme. Keep the copyright and licence notices required by the AGPL.
