Planned
- Search lyrics by a line. Find a song from a line you remember, across your library.
- Lyric cards. Turn a line into an image to share.
- Lyrics transcription. Time the words of songs that have no synced lyrics, on your machine.
- Listening statistics and a graph. Totals by track, artist and period, and a map of how your music connects.
- Track trimming. Keep your favourite part of a song. The daemon stores trims, and the screen for them is not built yet.
- Last.fm scrobbling. The daemon can sign in and scrobble. A settings screen is not built yet.
- Windows and macOS builds. The packaging targets exist and are untested.
- More languages. English and Russian are complete. Other languages are not in the app yet.
- Uncached start timing. We will measure how fast an uncached track starts.
Not planned
- A Nuvo account or a Nuvo server.
- Hosting or selling music.
- Telemetry.
Ideas we are weighing
- A GNOME Shell extension, so the Notch can work on GNOME.
- Room correction and per-device output routing.
Open an issue to argue for or against any of these.
